Interview de Steven Chasan

Voici l'interview du responsable de mon stage, Steven Chasan. Cet article sera rédigé en anglais et il est la retranscription d'un entretien effectué le jeudi 3 avril au domicile de monsieur Chasan.

Maxime: When have you created the company and why? 

Steven: Ecohip was created in 1991, it was created because my wife and I were both allergie suffer and we were buying a lot of products from America. The market wasn't so big at this time and we thought there is room for us!

Maxime: So, the company is 23 years old and it at begin with 21st Century Health or Ecohip?

Steven: 21st Century Health, Ecohip basicaly is a kind of brand, it's our old website name. This name is important because it reminds ecology. 

Maxime: What do you like in this job? 

Steven: Ho... It's a difficult question. I like the fact that customer is satisfied with what we have, the product we deliver, the speed that we deliver the product... those things are important to me!

Maxime: If you can change something in your job, what could it be?

Steven: I wouldn't have customers! 

Maxime: But you told us otherwise!

Steven: Customers could be very annoying, if we made some mistakes we have to put them right, sometimes they change their mind we have to refund them and you know, the customer is always right! And sometimes it's very difficult to deal with them but they have to be happy so we do our best! 

Maxime: What could be good for your company's futur?

Steven: I would like to move away from retailing and more to manufacturing because the competition is too high and the high price postage is too expensive for us...
